How do I hear selected text?
Select text in another app and use the shortcut shown in Alouvi Settings. If an app does not expose a selection, copy the text first and use the clipboard shortcut.
How do I read a document?
Open the reading workspace in Alouvi, paste or import a Text or Markdown file, choose a voice, then select Read aloud. The editable draft is kept on this device.
How do updates work?
Open Settings → About → Check for updates. When a Preview update is ready, Alouvi can install it and restart. Mac and Windows use the same public Preview version.
Why does my system warn about the installer?
These Preview installers are unsigned. Mac and Windows may show installation warnings until the signed release is ready. Only download from this site's links.
What does a report include?
Only the message you type, the category you choose, your signed-in account email, and the submission time. Alouvi does not automatically attach reading text, clipboard content, crash logs, or device data.
